The Importance of Being Grateful

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect. It’s the perfect chance to thank the people in your life for the benefits that they bring. For many people, they think back on the past year and come up with an answer for what they’re most grateful for when they’re asked at the Thanksgiving table.I believe gratitude should not be a one-day affair. It should be a life-long pursuit.Every day, I spend an hour suiting up for the day. I get into a quiet place, read scripture or devotionals, and journal.

Gratitudes

I also write gratitudes. I write down as many things as I can think of that I am grateful for on any given day. Why? Because when you come from a place of gratitude, you begin to attract the happiness that we all desire. With the year we’ve had, it would be so easy to just throw our hands up in the air and say, “You know what, everything is awful, why bother?”But having an attitude of gratitude enables you to see the positive things in life and to really embrace them.

Know Your Purpose

Part of what allows me to have such a grateful heart is that I know my God-given purpose.Having your vision written down, with dates, provides you with so much clarity.

  • It helps you fix your problems and helps you avoid pain in life. It’s the anchor in the storms life throws at you.

  • It helps you create boundaries around your time and your money.

  • It helps you understand why you’re here on this Earth and what you need to do to accomplish your purpose and to truly live it.

One group of people that has been suffering from a lack of vision these days is young people, college-aged and through early 30s.Many young adults feel set adrift, as though they don’t have a purpose in life and that they don’t matter. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The problem is, they don’t KNOW what their purpose is. They haven’t connected with the universe, sat down in solitude, and started writing their vision. And that’s what I’m here to change.

You Matter

As a vision expert, I’ve made it my mission to show young people just how much they do matter, but helping them craft their crystal-clear vision for their lives. And it doesn’t just have to be young adults. Children, too, can greatly benefit from knowing what their vision is.You can replace a family game night with family vision night! This Thanksgiving, I want to send my love and gratitude to each and every one of you.I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life, part of the journey, part of loving on me and on my family, and what we are doing. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to create the life you deserve by joining our free Vision is Victory masterclass.
